HealthZone Medical, your North Shore Family GP
HealthZone Medical is a vibrant North Shore Family GP Doctor Medical Practice set inside the main building of AUT Millennium. For more than 20 years, our team of family GPs and sports doctors have provided individualized care to families and whanau.
Having first started with emphasis on sports, teams and athletes, we are now also a family-focused medical practice, serving the community and also many of the visitors coming to AUT Millennium Centre. We also offer skin checks, skin cancer excision and minor surgery services and the latest osteoarthritis/joint injection services,.
We welcome new patients and families – no referral is necessary.
We also place a high value on knowing our patients as individuals – so consultations are by appointment only. Our standard consultation time is 15 minutes.
Keeping patients healthy is the bottom line at HealthZone Medical, through regular health screening (such as diabetic testing, asthma screening, well person checks for insurance medicals, along with medical surgical procedures by appointment.a

We are closed on all public holidays.
Afters-hours care: we recommend Shorecare Urgent Care clinics, at Smales Farm and Northcross, open every days.
Holiday Scriptline/Requests: We monitor our request email reception@healthzonemedical.co, during holiday close down times like Xmas, New Year and Easter, and can still provide remotely those urgent scripts, guidance with warfarin(INR) dosing and non-emergency queries (extra fees may apply).
New Patients Enrolling
We are accepting new patients. You can choose any GP to be your primary doctor (see “Our Doctors” page), but you can see or change to any GP later on.
If you are enrolling to be funded for lower fees, we need to sight the passport(s) or birth certificates(s) of you and any dependents, to ensure your meet eligibility and entitlement criteria. Any dependents 16yrs or older need to also sign the enrollment forms themselves.
If you are transferring from another medical practice, have your clinical record transferred over from your previous GP, before your first appointment – ask us how.

If you wish to become an enrolled patient at Healthzone Medical, please complete the attached enrolment form and health questionnaire form.

Please complete all sections of the health questionnaire and bring with you to your first visit along with the completed enrolment form and passport identification.
Your First Visit
Your first visit will typically be a 15 minutes consult with the nurse and a 30 minutes (double) consultation with the doctor.
If your medical condition(s) are complex, we need to attend to multiple issues, or we need to obtain extra information, health records or tests – a follow-up visit may be needed to complete your health assessment and planning.
Documentation needed: Please bring along to your first appointment documents to support your eligibility to enrol, including photographic identification, as well as completed enrolment forms (see details on page 2 of the enrolment form found on the Documents tab).
Transferring from another medical practice?: Have your clinical records transferred over to us, before your first appointment – ask us how.
We prefer all children (under 18yrs of age) always to be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Parking is free for the first 90 minutes – more than enough for your consultation or procedures.
