HealthZone Medical is a vibrant Medical Practice set inside the main building of AUT Millennium. For almost 20 years, our team of family GPs and sports doctors have provided individualized care, and when needed, elite healthcare.
Having first started with emphasis on sports medicine, sports teams and high performance athletes, we are now a strongly Family-focused medical practice, serving the community and also many of the visitors coming to AUT Millennium Centre.
We welcome new patients and families – no referral is necessary.
We also place a high value on knowing our patients as individuals – so consultations are by appointment only. Our standard consultation time is 15 minutes.
Keeping patients healthy is the bottom line at HealthZone Medical, through regular health screening (such as diabetic testing, asthma screening, well person checks for insurance medicals, along with medical surgical procedures by appointment).
|Monday – Friday||8:00 AM – 5:30 PM|
We are closed on all public holidays.
Afters-hours care: we recommend Shorecare Urgent Care clinics, at Smales Farm and Northcross, open every days.
Our team is made up of 6 GPs (see details on “Our Doctors” page) , and…
Practice Nurse: Amanda Palmer
Practice Manager: Moira Spurdle
Business Manager: Chris Cottell-Mayhew
Receptionists: Bev Heron, Claire Vaughan, and Nicky Clement
We are accepting new patients. You can choose any GP to be your primary doctor (see “Our Doctors” page), but you can see or change to any GP later on.
If you are enrolling to be funded for lower fees, we need to sight the passport(s) or birth certificates(s) of you and any dependents, to ensure your meet eligibility and entitlement criteria. Any dependents 16yrs or older need to also sign the enrollment forms themselves.
If you are transferring from another medical practice, have your clinical record transferred over from your previous GP, before your first appointment – ask us how.
We have online enrolment available or download the necessary forms in the Documents tab.
We are a member of the ComprehensiveCare PHO network.
Your first visit will be at normal consultation rates (unlike many practices that charge a special double rate).
If your medical condition(s) are complex, we need to attend to multiple issues, or we need to obtain extra information, health records or tests – a follow-up visit may be needed to complete your health assessment and planning.
Documentation needed: Please bring along to your first appointment documents to support your eligibility to enrol, including photographic identification, as well as completed enrolment forms (see details on page 2 of the enrolment form found on the Documents tab).
Transferring from another medical practice?: Have your clinical records transferred over to us, before your first appointment – ask us how.
We prefer all children (under 18yrs of age) always to be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
